Steering Committee Statement
Through the sharing of our stories, and journeys, we recognise our commonalities, hopes, prayers and endeavours. In this acknowledgement we see the opportunity to learn, the opportunity to share, and the common goal for indigenous leadership, ministry and purpose. We acknowledge the educational opportunity to continue to grow and evolve together and commit ourselves to this journey.
Together we commit to exploring opportunities to support one another and grow indigenous leadership in the following areas:
Schooling, Orders, Women’s Leadership, Governance, Theological Education and Environmental Justice.
Shaped by indigenous ways of being.
We celebrate and uphold The Anglican Communion and our existing relationships, including the Anglican Indigenous Network.
