Anglican Care

Kei runga I ēnei kupu e rua e iri ana te ture me ngā poropiti.

Jesus said: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’

Anglican Care

ANGLICAN CARE is a nationwide network of Anglican social service agencies, parish-based programmes, and interchurch groups.

In 2022, the Anglican Care Network decided that their original purpose of coordinating Anglican social service agencies has been fulfilled. They sought greater alignment in their practices with Tikanga partners (reflecting that they have been comprised exclusively of Tikanga Pākehā organisations until recently) and Te Pouhere – the Church’s Constitution. The Archbishops have tasked Kurahautū with working with ACN to ‘find the way’ ahead together and shape a more mātauranga grounded future for the network.
